4.1 Features and characteristics
The machine is composed of facing head,column,machine body,mechanical feeding system, control system, guard unit of rail, facing-blade.
Both the horizontal and vertical rails are precise type, of great loading capacity, little clearance and good accuracy.
The facing head can travel along spindle, of 100mm stroke.
The machine is equipped with operating pendant, easy for operation and blade alignment.
The vertical rail is protected from dust and scrap thanks to guard cover.
For guarding unit of horizontal rail, it is of cascading style, with the advantage of good seal,good dissipation and long life. There is peep hole on the guard cover, thru which lubricating and cleanness condition of the rail can be observed.
The machine body and column are of welding structure, and integrally annealed post welding, stable, non-deform and good precision.
The facing head is produced by professional manufacturer, featuring in reasonable structure,reliable performance,broad speed range,good rigidity,low noise,high efficiency and easy operation. Rpm of facing head can be adjusted by handle based on diameter of facing-blade bed.
The facing head can be revolved integrally within the range of 0º∼45º on the vertical slides, for ease of beveling. This is the option unit unique to our company. There is manual lubricating pump on the horizontal slides, making good lubrication of the rail.
The facing-blade bed of the machine is of standard type, which is available on the market. The facing-blade is made of carbide alloy steel.
Supply in package, including facing-blade and cone.
Facing-blade could be tilted by hand. Power head rpm could be adjusted by handle.
Special caution:
1) Please add in around 16 liters 20# mechanical oil into spindle box before starting on facing spindle at customer site. The detailed oil volume is defined on the basis of oil index position on the spindle box. Usually it is ok to add to the middle of oil index.
2) Do not adjust rpm of spindle with handle manually during spindle rotation, or the gears inside spindle box may get damaged.
Note:
Please regularly check lubrication and abrasion condition of elevating lead-screw nut couple. Stop the machine and check it if ever abrasion& block happens, eliminating malfunction and underlying safety problem immediately.
Special caution:
1) Please add in around 1 liter 20# mechanical oil into elevating worm-gear reducer before starting the machine at customer site. The detailed oil volume is defined on the basis of oil index position on the reducer box. Usually it is ok to add to the middle of oil index.
2) Please add in around 8 liters 20# mechanical oil into facing reducer before starting the machine at customer site. The detailed oil volume is defined on the basis of oil index position on the reducer box. Usually it is ok to add to the middle of oil index.
3) After add lubricating oil into reducer, please change the original nut at oil hole to ventilating cap.
